News 05/06/2008 Marywood University Honors Faculty, Staff and Retirees for Years of Service Full-time faculty and administrators who have completed 20 years of service to the University were awarded the Cor Mariae-Pro Fide et Cultura medal. Honors were also extended to retirees, and full-time faculty and administrators celebrating milestones of 25, 30 and 35 years of service. 05/06/2008 Marywood University Receives Grant to Increase Nursing Faculty Marywood University will increase the number of future nurses that it prepares to enter the northeastern Pennsylvania workforce, thanks to a $50,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Foundation (PHEF) and its Nurse Faculty Lines Program. 05/06/2008 Marywood Hosts 2008 Graduate Exhibition Marywood University will present the opening exhibition of work by five graduate students on May 3, 2008, in both the Suraci Gallery, Shields Center for Visual Arts, and the Kresge Gallery, Insalaco Center for Studio Arts. 04/25/2008 Celebration of Faith Theme of Marywood Professor's New Film Dance, worship, and music are some of the themes expressed in Sacred Rituals: A Journey of Celebrations, an original documentary film by Dr. Douglas Lawrence, Marywood University assistant professor and chair of the communication arts department. 04/25/2008 The Maslow Collection and Maslow Study Gallery for Contemporary Art Opening at Marywood University Due to the generous support of Mr. Richard Maslow and the Maslow Family, Marywood University will celebrate the openings of The Maslow Collection and the newly renovated Maslow Study Gallery for Contemporary Art on April 25, 2008.
